The Gore Effect Strikes Again

Anyone else note the irony that the week after Al Gore’s global warming movie wins an Oscar, the US gets socked with a nasty blizzard?

Needless to say, if this is global warming, I’d sure hate to see what global cooling would be like…

  1. Uh, Jay, the temperatures in most of the blizzard zone are still above average for early March.

The only thing ironic is that global warming deniers don’t realize how stupid they make themselves look every time they use an isolated snowstorm example as “evidence” that completely negates the fact the globe’s average temperature increases every successive year.

  2. Why, that’s just absolutely fascinating, Mark!! Please cite the source you are using that establishes the “fact” that the globe’s average temperature increases every successive year. Then you can post us another fascinating argument about how human beings are causing climate change on Mars!

“In 2005 data from NASA’s Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide “ice caps” near Mars’s south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row.”
