		<description>With General Petraeus being portrayed as a liar and a traitor, perhaps the calculus was that stronger rhetoric from Bush would have obtained nothing but more comparisons with Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. We may be winning the battle in Iraq, but we are losing the culture war at home, courtesy of the Democrat Party and its media synchophants. From this perspective, diplomatically, it was a good speech.</description>
