NRO Financial has some interesting points on the new economic stimulus package and the charge that it’s only helping the rich. It also contains this little bit of wisdom that would be good to bring up in those debates with the left:
…Saying that the Bush plan is a "tax cut for the rich" makes about as much sense as decrying antibiotics as “medicine only for the sick.”
Then again, the Democratic Party considers any tax rate less than 100% a luxury… how else can one justify rhetoric that tax cuts "take money away from the government?"
