Jonah Golberg and Enron

Jonah Goldberg has great takedown of the Enron "scandal" in his latest NRO column. Basically, the Dems are trying to attack the President for both doing to much with Enron and not doing enough for Enron. Meanwhile, the rest of the world doesn’t care. It’s clear that there’s no real meat to this scandal, even less than there was with Whitewater, but the Dems are going to run headlong into this brick wall. In the end, it’s clear that this was a major screwup on the part of Enron, Arthur Andersen, but not the Bush administration. Trying to implicate Bush into this scandal is just typical Democratic smear tactics that will likely backfire.
