Bad Medicine

The British government is now considering raising taxes to improve the National Health Service. As I mentioned yesterday, the NHS is failing because it’s based on an economically unsound foundation. Throwing more money into the NHS black hole will only further exacerbate an already dire situation. Instead, the Tories should be pushing for a complete overhaul of the British health care system that returns to a free-market ideal. Of course, that would take real leadership, which is not something the Tories have right now…
