A best-selling book in France argues that the Pentagon attack was faked by
the United States military. Sin Que Non Pundit has some great links to

of this rediculous conspiracy theory. The "evidence" is the same
kind used to prop up any such conspiracy – semi-scientific explanations for things
with much more prosaic answers. This kind of tripe is in the same vein as works
which try to "scientifically" prove the Holocaust never happened. The
conspiracy wackos feed on scientific illiteracy and paranoia for
self-aggrandizement. The fact that so many people are buying into this nonsense
makes me wonder about the collective mental health of France.
