He’s got a good point – Americans haven’t forgotten the Palestinians who
cheered as the World Trade Center and Pentagon burned. Nor are we in any mood
to deal with people who think that suicide attacks are a legitimate form of political
protest. If Arafat thinks he’s getting any help from us, it’s his sense of history that’s
off, not ours.
