Jonah Goldberg askes an intreguing question in The Corner –
what if Israel was a nation composed of gays rather than Jews? Would the Left
be so quick to criticize their desire to keep their nation together. It is an interesting
question to ponder. My guess is that the anti-war Left is so dead-set against any
kind of military conflict that it wouldn’t matter to most of them, but that’s only my
guess. Certainly the gay angle would be downplayed severely in such a hypothetical
situation. The question is definitely an open-ended one, however…
