The Israeli Defence Force has released
satellite images of the Jenin refugee camp which show the actual scale of
the destroyed area in relation to the town. The area of destruction is relatively
small, while most of the town appears intact. While these images don’t necessarily
show the whole story, they do seem to disprove the Palestinian charges that the
Israelis gutted the infrastructure of the town. It would appear that the only
infrastructure that was gutted would be that used by the terrorists.
