President Bush lays it all on the line when he says that
the United States will not let Israel by crushed by Islamic terrorism. That’s
well and good, but at the same time Bush told Sharon to end all incursions into
Palestinian-occupied territory. One wonders if these are compatible goals.
However, this is a step in the right direction. Bush has forced the cards onto
the table – the Islamofascists want Israel to be gone; we won’t allow that to happen.
Now Bush needs to back that message up with action – meaning it’s time to get
tough on those who support Palestinian terrorism.
