McPaper reports that the Democrats are up in arms over the GOP using a picture of President Bush from September 11 as a bonus for donors to the party. Note that this picture shows the President calling from Air Force One, and only shows the President. Yet this is somehow supposed to be politicizing the events of September 11.
The Democrats are clearly desperate to make political hay out of whatever they can find. The use of this picture is in good taste. If it were a picture of one of the airlines crashing into the World Trade Center, they might have a point. But it isn’t. It’s the President, a Republican, doing his job in a crisis. Terry McAuliffe needs to sit down, shut up, and get over it.
