Andrew Suttaford points out in The Corner
that Musharraf is moving troops from the Afghan border to Kashmir, a move that will likely be to the benefit of al-Qaeda fighters who are still stuck in the Afghan mountains. Perhaps Victor Davis Hanson was right after all. Musharraf should well know that an escalation in Kashmir is a bad thing for his future as well as the future of all his people.
