After a year of shaky ground, the Jay Reding Consumer Confidence Index has skyrocketed today after the latest round of employment figures jumped to 100%…
In other words, I finally have a full-time job! I’ll be working as a web coordinator/designer, which is nice as I that’s what I’d been doing previously. Getting paid is nice. Getting paid to do something you enjoy is even better.
Of course, that means I’ll probably be doing less blogging, but at least I won’t have to walk around with this “WILL PONTIFICATE FOR FOOD” sign anymore.
And the first recipient of my personal trickle down economic system will be the friendly workers at the local liquor store…
Congrads Jay, the company that hired you is fortunate to have someone of such high intellectual calibre. Let’s hope you don’t show your superiors your old parli debate self too often. Go easy on them..
Thought you were planning on law school… what’s going on?
(Still unemployed. Still have a year to go before I get my own useless Pre-Law degree- and then go to Journalism school… )
I took the LSAT and thought about law school, but the job market for lawyers isn’t all that great right now, and I’d rather pay off the debts I have before getting into more… 🙂
That and I’d rather not spend my entire life in academia…
Now that you’re officially a web coordinator/designer maybe you should go give WombatControl a much overdue update. 🙂
Congrats, Jay!
And while the market for lawyers is soft, the market for good lawyers (or good practitioners in any field) is always good.
Or, for that matter, webbies.
Knock ’em dead!
