Farewell, Mr. President

Farewell, Mr. President

The body of Ronald Wilson Reagan has been committed to the earth, in a heartwrenching yet beautiful ceremony as the sun set over the Reagan Presidential Library in California. I have said goodbye to far too many loved ones myself, and know how difficult it can be. I cannot even imagine how much more difficult it is to experience such grief in front of the world in such a public way. Yet the friends and family did so with indominable class. It was a sendoff that was fitting to the Great Communicator, the 40th President of the United States, and the man who brought freedom to so many.

Farewell, Mr. President. Your pain has ended, and while you may have passed from the Earth, your memory and the things you did shall live on.
