Cases For Cases?

I’ve got a bleg for everyone here – as I’ve mentioned, I’ll be starting law school next week, and as a 1L, I’ll be carrying around enough reading material to weigh down a small transport plane. Not only that, but I’ll probably end up carrying all that stuff through the skyways of downtown Minneapolis – at least from the Light Rail station to school. So, I’m probably going to need a better bag than the freebie I’ve been using for the past two years.

This bag will have to hold my MacBook, a few huge casebooks, paper, pens, the MacBook’s power cables, a laptop lock, and my iPod. I’d rather not spend an obscene amount of money, but something merely prurient would be acceptable. If any of my esteemed colleagues would happen to know of a laptop bag that would meet the needs of a constantly-rushed 1L, leave a comment here or send a message to comments -at- jayreding.com.

  1. Walking through the skyways to get to law school… you aren’t by chance going to UST’s new law school, are you? 😉

  2. Nicq: I suppose the cat’s out of the bag on that one… 🙂

James: Thanks for the recommendation. Pedro’s has quite the selection, although they didn’t have quite what I was looking for. However, if the bag I ended up with proves to be too small, they did have a large wheeled backpack I may end up getting. Next time I need serious travel luggage, I’m going to have to go back there.
