The EU and the UN have both
given their blessing to Colin Powell’s Mideast mission. This should be a sign
that the current US policy is 180 degrees from where it should be. A pullback from
the West Bank and Gaza Strip would only give terrorists time to regroup and
execute more suicide bombings on Israeli citizens. While Israel needs to ensure
that it’s not targeting innocents, they also have every right to protect themselves
from terrorist attack.
