Secretary of State Colin Powell met with Yassir Arafat this Sunday morning,
and called the
meeting "useful and constructive" despite the fact that nothing
was really accomplished. Perhaps I’m being pessimistic, but Arafat’s statement
against terrorism was hardly a strong one. How long will it be before we see
another suicide bomber attempt to attack innocent Israeli targets?
