The Seattle Times has a piece that looks into
the face of terror and hatred in the Middle East. Imagine if this kind of
violence were happening in New York or Los Angeles. Would we really be saying
that we need to try to understand the motivations of these murderers? Of course
not. Just because it’s Israelis who are dying doesn’t mean that our values should
change.
