The government of Saudi Arabia, everyone’s favorite terrorist-loving theocracy, is now buying pop-up
ads to bolster their image. Yes, the Saudis are using the Internet to advertise their supposed commitment to "peace" and "tolerance". My guess is that they won’t be putting these ads on planetout.com or National Review Online any time soon.
UPDATE: I’m now on their mailing list… we’ll see what kind of propaganda messages they’re trying to sell. I’m thinking this may be a regular feature…
