There’s a new survey that supports
the economic feasibility of space tourism. There are enough people willing to pay enough money for someone to have a viable business. This is an example of why the private sector works and government doesn’t. Now that there’s a market, someone’s going to exploit it, and after a while, affordable space travel will be a reality. While NASA is stuck with the inefficient, slow, and expensive space shuttle, private enterprise is already looking for innovative and cheaper tickets to orbit. It will be the private companies who make it possible, not inefficient government bureaucracies.
Now if we can only make sure that Underperformin’ Norman doesn’t get involved in spaceline security as well…
