The Washington Post has an interesting article on the lack of minority representation in France. As much as I’m opposed to the idea that the proportion of minorities in government must arbitrarily equal the proportion of society, the fact that France has the Gaullic gall to criticize the United State’s record on racial affairs is a bit shocking. Someone should call Jesse Jackson and send him to Paris avec vitesse!
