Yassir Arafat has threatened the world with
"a disastrous explosion that will impact stability of the whole world" if his demands for Palestinian statehood are not met. Yeah, there’s the voice of a reasonable man who desires peace for the world. Arafat is another two-bit tyrant who thinks that idle threats will get him where we wants.
He should remember that Israel is a nuclear power, and I don’t think they’d hesitate to use them if left little choice. Arafat needs to remember that if he’s going to yank the tail of the dragon, he shouldnt’t complain when it fries him to a crisp.
