Both Steven den Beste and Jeff Goldstein have great pieces on the latest attack on Israeli civilians. Now the death toll has risen to 19 dead and 55 wounded. Prime Minister Sharon asked a very astute question of the whole matter:
"The terrible sights we have seen here are stronger than any words," Sharon said. "It is interesting to know what kind of Palestinian state they mean. What Palestinian state?"
What state indeed.
