The recent shooting at LA could have been much worse had it not been for the quick and decisive actions of El Al security agents who promptly shot the gunman dead. That’s how you deal with terrorism – by quickly ensuring that the terrorists don’t have the opportunity to strike again.
Unfortunately, this is a lesson that I doubt many in America have learned yet. The Israelis know terrorism all too well, and it appears that American officials like Norman Mineta know it all too little.
