There’s a good article on the WSJ OpinionJournal about the way in which the State Department is going into seige mode over the Visa Express program. Instead of admitting that they made a serious mistake by not killing the program on September 12, the entrenched bureaucracy at the State Department is resorting to calling those who want to investigate "neo-Nazis".
This is an example of a bureaucracy that’s lost the idea that the purpose of government is public service, not self-service. Again, it’s time for a major housecleaning at Foggy Bottom and a search for people who will treat their job as a public service and not as a travel agency for terrorists.
