I’m testing out Slug, a small little program that uses XML-RPC to post to Moveable Type. It’s a pretty nifty little program, if in need of a little better interface. (And the fact that it doesn’t enable TrackBack on new posts for some reason…)
One of the things I really like about using Moveable Type is the fact that there’s so much new development going on for it. It seems like the second I run into something I want to do in MT, there’s already a plugin or a nifty piece of code to accomplish it. Blogger’s nice, but Pyra just can’t keep up with the community of MT users who are constantly making a better and more powerful publishing system. In fact, this is one of those times where I really wish I had the discipline to learn to program so I could get in on the action.
