This is an old article, but I just found it due to a mention on Jonah Goldberg’s travel blog. It’s an interview of the brilliant Samuel Huntington done by the equally brilliant Robert D. Kaplan. For those of you who are interested in international relations theory and world politics, Huntington’s The Clash of Civilization and the Remaking of the World Order, and Kaplan’s Warrior Politics are some of the most insightful and well-written books in the field. They are also very prescient in our post-September 11 world.
