BravoTV is running a series called Breaking News which does for the news business what The West Wing does for politics – except in a less preachy and biased manner. Tim Matheson (also of the West Wing) plays the main anchor with an equally impressive supporting cast including Clancy Brown and the great newcomer Myndy Crist.
I believe a Blogcritics review is in order.
I’ve watched a few shows with the Mrs. It’s crap. Unrealistic cubed.
Then again, neither is The West Wing… but it does make pretty good drama…
(A real show about politics would feature constant donut eating and stuffing envelopes…)
Of course, I’ve never worked in a newsroom, so I’ll take your word for it…
