When The Past Becomes A Straightjacket

Steven den Beste has another brilliant piece that shows clearly why the "civil rights" movement is doing more harm than good. Martin Luther King Jr. told us all to judge people not on the color of their skin but the content of their character. Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan tell blacks that they cannot trust anyone who’s white. It’s clear which message leads to a brighter future and which one does not.

As a conservative, I value the past – but not to the detriment of the future, which is exactly what the current "civil rights" movement is doing.
