Donald Rumsfeld has been comparing the Bush Administration’s calls for war on Iraq to those of Winston Churchill before World War II. While that may be a rather audacious claim to make, the Europeans ignored the threat then and they’re certainly not doing much better now. Perhaps if we let Iraq take over France then they’ll realize we were right all this time?
