Max Sawicky, who was a former McKinney supporter admits that her radicalism is just too much, even for her supporters. If you want to accuse Bush of somehow having foreknowledge of September 11, fine, but don’t expect to ever win public office if you do. (Unless you have some very powerful evidence.)
There are rumors that McKinney is going to be a national candidate for the Green Party. As much as I’d like to see the Greens marginalize themselves into extinction, I don’t think even they are willing to attach their name to her deeply tarnished reputation.
