Yes, they could be the Twins of a few years ago. The Twins had a great year. They don’t have as many big, burly guys as the Angels, and just couldn’t match the Angels’ offense. The Twins need just a few more players. They will be in contention next year.
I’ll give them that much… and I’m hoping they do even better next season.
Still, watching the Angels hit run after run in the seventh was almost comical after a while… although the Twins played admirably in the inning before, the Angels just outperformed them in the end.
Oh well, I’ll just save my Homer Hankey for another year…
