James Taranto notes that the headlines of many major media articles actually lend credibility to the Iraqi "election". I could say that my cat’s tail is really a fifth leg, but no matter how many times I did so it still wouldn’t be true. Calling Saddam’s little "election" anything other than a sham gives it far more credence and credibility than it deserves.
