Sen. Paul Wellstone has
been killed in a plane crash in Northern Minnesota. 7 others were killed, including the Senator’s wife and daughter.
I was never a supporter of Senator Wellstone. I disliked his politics, but the one thing that I could never fault him on was his principal. He was a man who truly believed in something, and he was someone who legitimately did care about the people of Minnesota. He acted out of principal, and no matter what one’s political orientation that’s something that deserves praise.
To the Sen. Wellstone’s family and friends I offer my most heartfelt condolences on the loss of Senator Wellstone.
