My sources in the Minnesota DFL are confirming that former US Senator Walter Mondale will take Paul Wellstone’s place in the Minnesota Senate Race.
Despite his political liabilities on the national scene, Mondale is still well respected in Minnesota, and he is the closest ideologically to Paul Wellstone.
Look for the official announcement to come some time tomorrow.
