An audiotape has surfaced that reportedly contains the voice of Osama bin Laden and refers to events of late October this year. If this tape is authentic, it would mean that Osama bin Laden survived the US attack on Tora Bora, Afghanistan in December of 2001.
My money is on this being a forgery. An audio recording can be easily be made using someone who sounds like bin Laden. This tape is hardly proof of bin Laden being alive, and until someone can produce solid and incontrovertible evidence it still seems likely that bin Laden died in the Tora Bora assault.
