Hamas is telling Baghdad to use suicide bombers against US forces. Well, considering that going up against US forces might as well be suicide, I suppose it’s six of one versus a half-dozen of the other.
In all seriousness, if Saddam starts passing out the bomb belts you’re going to see the Iraqi Army start surrendering at a speed that would make the French green with envy. Most Iraqis aren’t going to die for Saddam no matter how much they may say so when he’s around. Given the odds of blowing yourself up for the guy who sent your sister to the "violator of women’s virtue" or fleeing off to get a warm meal from the Americans, what would you do?
