Reports are flying about if or where US and coalition forces are hitting Iraq. Which is exactly what should be happening. We’re trying to preserve the operational art of surprise, so the military is undoubtedly trying to keep things as vague as possible.
If I were to hazard a guess, Baghdad should be knowing what we meant by "shock and awe" sometime later tonight.
President Bush will address the nation at 9PM EST tonight. Expect the announcement of open war against the Hussein regime to begin. Chances are, by the time the President speaks, the war will already have begun in earnest.
