The Dow has closed above 9,000 and has been climbing at a steady rate since mid-March. With the worries of war now over, it’s looking like investors are getting back on their feet. Hopefully these increases will start to lift the economy further out of recession.
Here’s more details on the forces behind the rally. It looks like the services sector is seeing a jump, which is most certainly good news for the economy. The NASDAQ also closed at a level not seen since last year, which indicates that even the tech economy is picking up.
