Silent Running has been scanning the news and thinks that more has occurred in Iran than is being reported. It does seem like there’s very little interest on the part of the mainstream media about the potentially explosive events occuring in Iran – whether this is due to general apathy or some kind of government crackdown isn’t yet known. The Iranian theocracy has already jammed satellite TV and cellular communications in Tehran and elsewhere as to attempt to prevent protest organizers from alerting others to the protests.
Meanwhile, there seem to be evidence of some major disturbances. Tehran Online reported two loud explosions near the University Campus in Tehran.
Let’s hope those people are safe.
