The Hill News finds that some Democrats want Gore to run in 2004. Then again, it would ruin my "the Nine doomed to die (politically)" meme. On the other hand, Gore wouldn’t stand a chance in a rematch against Bush.
Perhaps the Democrat’s big tent will be getting yet another clown…

Well you could always swap out Sharpton, or Mosley-Braun. Nobody would miss them.
Or Kucinich or Graham, for that matter, not to mention Gephardt… ah, hell, can everyone but Kerry, Edwards, and Dean… 🙂

I hate to see conservatives and Republicans get over-confident about a Gore candidacy. Even though I give no credence to the nonsense that Bush stole the election, Gore did get a plurality of the vote, so we really cannot write him off so easily. Besides, he has stayed out of the mud for the last six months, so he is relatively clean. Since it looks like the economy is starting to pick-up, the question will be how tainted he would be by the Clinton foreign policy failures.
