A group of Palestinian militants attacked a US diplomatic convoy in the Gaza Strip, killing 3 Americans. This is the second attack on Americans in Gaza, and the Department of State is asking all Americans in the area to leave immediately for their own safety.
As US investigators arrived on the scene they were attacked by Palestinians throwing stones at them.
This is nothing short of an act of war against the United States, the deliberate targeting of diplomatic offers on a peaceful mission (they were heading to a Palestinian university to talk about the Fulbright Scholarship program). There is no excuse for such actions, and this should be a lesson as to what kind of enemy we face.
