Apple’s insanely great MP3 player and music store iTunes is now available for Windows users. This will make being without a Mac slightly more tolerable – now, if only we could get iTunes for Linux I’d be in heaven…
OK, first thoughts: iTunes frickin’ rocks! I install it on both my desktop and laptop. They share their playlists with each other, and there’s no configuration needed. The Music Store works like a charm. The interface is exactly what you’d expect from Apple – simple and efficient, but still possessing enough eye candy to make your retinas go into a sugar coma.
I think I know why Apple ported this thing. After using it, I really wish I had a Mac… and an iPod…
