One Strike That Should Go On

Eurocrats in the French Foreign Ministry are engaging in the French national pastime of going on strike.

“Employees do not understand how the president of the republic and the government can proclaim their grand ambitions for France on the international scene while at the same time the human and financial resources available to the ministry are constantly declining,” the six unions behind the protest said in a statement.

Trust me, there’s a major lack in common sense, foresight, or any sort of thought as well. France’s "grand ambitions" consists of a policy of reflexive anti-Americanism to mask France’s continuing slide into international irrelevance. It’s clear that the French are getting what they’re paying for.

Here’s one strike that I hope goes on for a VERY long time…
