There are more vague warnings of terrorist threats to major cities. This particular one involves the potential of a female suicide bomber in New York City. Considering that’s where I am at the moment, this is a bit worrying. Then again, the sheer number of terrorist warnings tends to dull their effect after a while.
One thing is for certain, while our enemies have hardly been holding back in their attacks, we have been. If there is another attack on US soil, the result for any groups responsible would be swift and dramatic. That’s why I wouldn’t expect a major attack in the US – security is too high, and there’s more benefit for terrorists to attack Israel and Iraq than the US. Then again, we’re not dealing with the most rational of groups, which is why it pays to be vigilent.
