  1. Hmm… the Bushes may be Texas Rangers with favored enemy: Liberal Hobgoblin, but if we’re playing in 3.5 that’s only a +1 to damage… not enough to give them much of an edge. And with Deangol’s fundraising ability, that’s a whole hell of a lot of Unholy Avenger Swords +5 that he can afford for his Blackguards.

As for me, I’m just going to sit back, smoke some old toby, and watch this carnage unfold… especially because it looks like the real race is going to be the political Ragnarok waged here in South Dakota, now that John Thune has declared he’s running against Daschle… 🙂

  2. He’s still playing 3e… I think he took one level of Ranger just to get Track and Two-Weapon Fighting, and then went straight to the Privledged Son prestige class (from Wizards of the Coast latest sourcebook, “Complete Fucking Idiot”).

After all, everyone knows Rangers got the shaft. 🙂

  3. What the hell is different about 3.5e, anyway? If Wizards thinks I’m going to spend 60+ bucks on the Core Books again, they can suck my +1 Cock of Brilliant Energy. God damn, what a scam.

  4. 3.5 is a rip-off- the only thing they really changed was the spell lists and a few classes. However, the mangling of the spell lists is so ugly that it makes pluging and playing all the magic-related 3rd party stuff a lot of work, which really ticks me off, even though I like most of the changes. Anyway, I haven’t run a campaign lately and I don’t know if I ever will again the way things are looking, so it’s kind of a non-issue for me…

  5. Yeah, I hear that. Being out of college sucks – it’s impossible to find a campaign. Oh, well. Maybe I can scare one up at grad school or something…
