Carole Moseley-Braun is officially dropping out of the 2004 race and will endorse Dean. Braun has always been a non-entity in the race, but her support will help Dean with the absolutely crucial black vote. This may give Dean just enough of a boost to keep him from falling to second in Iowa, but if I were Joe Trippi I’d be more than a little worried right now.
