The Command Post picked up on an AP story indicating the Lieberman campaign is preparing to concede tonight if they do not win at least one state. With Lieberman having hoped to win Delaware, but currently in third, it looks like the chances of Lieberman picking up even one state are slim to none.
Lieberman was the only truly sane person in the race, with the possible exception of Edwards. He stuck fast to his principles and supported the war in Iraq not because it was popular, but because he knew it was right. Of all the Democrats running, Lieberman would have been the only one I would have voted for, and I’ll be sad to see him go. Someone had to stand up for common sense in that race, and Lieberman was usually the one to do it.
