William F. Buckley, the founder of the influential conservative journal National Review is now devesting himself of the magazine and turing over control to five trustees. Buckley is one of the fathers of the modern conservative movement, a man who brought conservativism from a reactionary and rudderless ideology to a philosophy that has transformed this country. National Review was the magazine that made it all possible, providing intellectual ammunition in the war of ideas.
Fortunately, National Review remains in good hands and will continue the tradition of excellence it has held for the past half century.
