US and Iraqi forces are preparing to make their final assault on the renegade Moqtada al-Sadr who has made life miserable for many Iraqi Shi’a and whose Iranian-backed Mahdi Army has been terrorizing Iraq. The coward Sadr is holed up in one of the most sacred places to all Shi’a, using the Tomb of the Imam Ali as a base of operations.
Here’s hoping they take that bastard out and end his campaign of terrorism and thuggery.
